Process
How we work together
Commissioning bespoke decorative art is a collaborative process. Here is what to expect from our first conversation to the finished piece.
Conversation
Every project begins with a conversation. You tell me about your space, your aesthetic preferences, and what you want to achieve. If you are a designer or architect, share your mood boards, drawings, or material palettes. I visit the site whenever possible to understand the architecture, light, and proportions firsthand.
Concept & Proposal
Based on our conversation and site visit, I develop a concept with material samples, technique recommendations, and visual references. You receive a detailed proposal including scope, timeline, and pricing. This stage is collaborative -- I refine the concept until it aligns perfectly with your vision.
Crafting
This is where the work comes to life. Depending on the project, I may work on-site or prepare elements in my studio. Every surface, every detail is created by hand. I document the process and keep you informed of progress throughout. For complex projects, I coordinate with other trades to ensure seamless integration.
Completion & Care
When the work is complete, we review it together. I provide care and maintenance instructions specific to the materials used, ensuring your piece ages beautifully for years to come. I remain available for any questions or future projects.

Common questions
How long does a project take?
Timelines vary by scope. A single feature wall may take one to two weeks on-site. A full interior scheme or large facade project can span several weeks to months. I provide a detailed timeline in every proposal.
Do you travel for projects?
Yes. While I am based in Slovenia, I regularly work across Europe. Travel and accommodation are included in the project proposal.
What does a project cost?
Every project is unique and priced accordingly. After our initial conversation and site assessment, I provide a comprehensive quote with no hidden costs.
Can you work with my architect or designer?
Absolutely. Many of my projects come through design professionals. I integrate seamlessly into existing project teams and coordinate with other trades on-site.
