About

The hand behind the work

For more than 20 years, I have been shaping surfaces by hand. What started as a craft apprenticeship in decorative plastering evolved into a practice that spans interior decoration, facade art, ceiling sculpture, and functional sculptural pieces.

I work from my studio in Materija, Slovenia, but my projects take me across Europe. I have collaborated with architects and interior designers on private residences, boutique hotels, restaurants, and heritage restoration projects.

My approach is rooted in traditional European techniques -- lime plasters, sgraffito, hand-sculpted ornamental work -- but always in service of contemporary design. I believe the best decorative art does not shout. It reveals itself slowly, rewarding attention with layers of detail and craftsmanship that only the human hand can produce.

Every project is personal. I do not employ teams or subcontract the work. When you commission a piece, you are working directly with the person who will design and execute it. That is the only way I can guarantee the quality and artistic integrity that defines my practice.

How I work

One artisan, one project

I personally design and execute every commission. No subcontractors, no teams. This ensures consistency, attention to detail, and a direct creative partnership with every client.

Traditional materials

Lime, clay, natural pigments, gypsum. I use time-tested materials that age beautifully, breathe naturally, and connect each piece to centuries of European decorative heritage.

Design collaboration

Whether working with an architect, an interior designer, or directly with a homeowner, I approach every project as a creative dialogue. Your vision guides the work. My craft brings it to life.
